Conference was great, can't say enough positive things about the people there and the projects they have done. This video made by two of the participants captures the group rather well.
On the last night we celebrated the organizations 5 year anniversary and partied till the sun came up. After a few hours of sleep we boarded a bus for the European Development Days in Strasbourg.
Most memorable address was given by Wangari Maathai, 2004 nobel peace prize winner. In essence she stated leaders of African countries should be ashamed that northern countries are putting their peers to trial for atrocities committed on their own citizens - social justice needs to come back to Africa, the continent needs to be strong enough to police itself.
